Sycamore Networks Announces Q3 Fiscal Year 2008 Financial Results Release Date and Webcast Information

Chelmsford, Mass. - Sycamore Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCMR), a leader in intelligent bandwidth management solutions for fixed line and mobile network operators worldwide, today announced that the Company will report its third quarter fiscal year 2008 financial results for the period ending April 26, 2008, on Thursday, May 29, 2008, prior to market open.

In conjunction with the release of its third quarter fiscal year 2008 financial results, Sycamore will host a conference call for investors at 8:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, May 29, 2008.
